Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank announced the results of the "Innovative and Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2020 Index" that was created under the leadership of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).

Marmara University is riser in 2020 rankings, moving from  33rd place in 2018 index to 26th in 2019.
