The ceremony began with one minute’s silence and the National Anthem. After the founding Chairperson of Kadıköy Türk Ocağı (Kadıköy Provincial Turkic Association) Mustafa Lütfi Demirhan mentioned Atsız’s life, his struggle of life and the hardship Atsız experienced, the ceremony ended with Ozan Ünsal Demişbaş’s singing gently the poems that Atsız composed. In the end of the program, President of Turkic Culture and Studies Club Hasan Baybura and Selim Tufan Asa presented plaques to the participants.
