Prof.Dr.  Baki Asiltürk said in his speech that literature should to be examined thoroughly since  11th  and 12th centuries to understand latest developments of it. Saying "the most recent discussion of recent literature is modernism and post modernism, he stated these discussion in Turkey began in 1971, with the publishing of Oğuz Atay's book named "Tutunamayanlar",  and today, have continued.
