Marmara University Introduced "TEKNOFEST 2023" Projects in Ankara

Marmara University participated in TEKNOFEST, the world's largest space, aviation and technology festival, which was held for the first time in the capital Ankara between 30 August and 3 September on the 100th anniversary of the Republic.


While more than 900 thousand visitors attended the event held at Etimesgut Airport under the leadership of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Marmara University stand also attracted great attention. MarCo, Farm-O, Ro-Ta, Hars, Mini-Hars, RoboTexTherapy, Creality CR, 200B 3DPrinter, V-one PCB Printing Machine sets were exhibited at the stand where the projects prepared by Marmara University students and faculty members were introduced to the visitors.


Within the scope of the festival, in which many organizations that play a critical role in the development of national technology in Turkey take part as stakeholders, our university focused on Transportation and Mobility Technologies, Environment, Energy and Climate Technologies, Education Technologies, Tourism Technologies, Barrier-Free Living Technologies, Health and Wellness, with its 33 project teams. It competed in 9 different fields: Technologies, Disaster Management Technologies, Agricultural Technologies, Communication and Communication Technologies Categories.


TEKNOFEST Ankara, which embraced and brought together millions with the vision of a "National Technology Move" for a fully independent Turkey, was accompanied by musicals and concerts on the first day and hosted many activities on the other days. Turkish Stars, SOLOTÜRK, HÜRKUŞ, GÖKBEY, AKSUNGUR, Bayraktar TB2, Gendarmerie Çelik Kanatlar, Akıncı, ATAK Helicopter and ANKA performed during the event at the festival, where enthusiasm and excitement were again carried to the skies. In addition, many activities were carried out, from vertical wind tunnel to solar observation, from space-themed children's playgrounds to simulation.


TEKNOFEST 2023, the first of which was held in Istanbul and the second in Ankara, will end with the final competitions to be held in Izmir between 27 September and 1 October.
