NBUAM's Scientific Study Covers Macromolecular Materials and Engineering Journal

"A Novel Strategy as a Potential Rapid Therapy Modality in the Treatment of Corneal Ulcers: Fluconazole/Vancomycin Dual Drug-Loaded Nanofibrous Patches”, carried out in partnership with Marmara University Nanotechnology and Biomaterials Application and Research Center (NBUAM) and Warsaw University of Technology Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies (CEZAMAT), featured on the cover page of the Macromolecular Materials and Engineering published by Wiley publishing house.

In the study where an innovative treatment method was developed against corneal ulcers, two different drug-loaded smart patches were produced by the electrospinning method. With this smart patch, rapid treatment with a potential dual drug for aggressive corneal ulcers occurred.

We congratulate the scientists of our university involved in the project for their work and wish them continued success.
