Smart Reliability 4.0 (iRel40) Project Progress Meeting Is Hosted by Marmara University

The progress meeting of the project titled "Smart Reliability 4.0 (iRel40)", of which Assoc.Prof. Müjdat Soytürk is the coordinator of  Turkey, has begun. The meeting hosted by Marmara Univesity is the first face-to-face event held due to the pandemic. The event will last for three days and will include technical sessions, poster presentations and demonstrations.

Marmara University, Arçelik A.Ş., Enforma Bilişim A.Ş., and Pavo Tasarım Üretim Elektronik Tic. A.Ş. have taken part in the Turkish consortium of the Smart Reliability 4.0 (iRel40) Project, which has a budget of 103.6 Million Euros and is carried out by 75 partner organizations from 13 countries.

The project, which is expected to be completed in April 2023, aims to ensure/increase the reliability of electronic components used in all application areas by using artificial intelligence, machine learning and new technologies.

In this context, it is aimed to increase reliability in all processes from design to production in order to develop and produce error-free and high-performance products from Wafer to integrated circuits, chips, electronic cards and all systems containing them. Within the scope of the studies carried out by the Turkish consortium, there are invaluable contributions to the safety of electronic components and systems with the use of scenario and real field studies. Thanks to the project, a significant contribution will be made to the industry and science with the value chain created by the partners.
